In the morning, tour guides collect safari participants from Arusha and take them to Tarangire National Park for some sensational first-day sights and wildlife spotting. As one of the largest national parks in Tanzania, the spectacular landscape in the Tarangire is home to huge herds of elephants, a pride of lions, and the intriguing baobab trees — a species known locally as 'the Tree of Life' for its mythical powers that some cultures believe it holds. This national park is also famous for the Tarangire River, which flows year-round and is the only natural water source in the wild within an eight-hour radius.

After breakfast, you will depart for Serengeti. A long and bumpy road will take you about 4-5 hours of a fascinating game en route driving up the crater highlands towards the vast plains of Serengeti. If the weather is clear and not foggy, you will stop at Ngorongoro Viewpoint to have a glimpse of the caldera for 10 minutes before continuing with your drive to Serengeti. You will stop for a picnic lunch at Naabi Hill Gate before you check into the park for an evening /sunset game drive. After catching the sunset, you will proceed to the Seronera campsite for dinner and an overnight stay.

  • Day 4 | Serengeti National Park - Ngorongoro Crater

Today we recommend waking up early before sunrise. After your cup of coffee, you will head out for a sunrise game drive, and this time most animals are active due to low temperatures and less heat. Around 10 am, you'll be back and have a full breakfast. Afterward, you will proceed with an en-route game drive to the Ngorongoro Conservation Area. Again, you will arrive at Naabi Hill gate around 2-3 pm for lunch. Then, you'll check in at the Ngorongoro Conservation Area. Afterward, you'll proceed to Ngorongoro Simba campsite located on the Crater's rim for an overnight stay and dinner.

  • Day 5 | Ngorongoro Crater

Following breakfast, you'll proceed with an early morning/sunrise game drive and descend the crater. Ngorongoro is a special place and the first time that you descend onto the crater floor is like no other safari experience in Africa. This is a world unto itself, one where you’ll encounter the crater’s 600-strong population of hyenas, as well as critically endangered black rhinos. You’ll also find elephants with larger-than-average tusks, and more than 50 lions living in the crater. But it’s the sheer beauty of Ngorongoro that will most likely live longest in your memory. In the late evening, you'll exit the crater and drive to Mto wa Mbu for an overnight stay and dinner.
    Main Destination: Ngorongoro Crater

  • Day 6 | Mto Wa Mbu Cultural Tour

Following breakfast, you will proceed to explore the little town. Bustling with a variety of cultures from around Tanzania, the little town of Mto Wa Mbu lies at the entrance to Lake Manyara National Park. A local agricultural hub, the town is famous for its crops of rice and the distinctive red bananas that Tanzania is known for. You'll be immersed in the local culture during this cultural tour at Mto wa Mbu. A local guide will walk with you through the streets of this African farming village, surrounded by beautiful nature. During this tour, you visit an African school, church, market, and banana brewery. A great way to get an insight into the daily life of local people. After the tour, you will drive back to Arusha for dinner and an overnight stay.

Here you can find one of the biggest waterfalls in the region and the finest coffee makers. You will left in awe as you hike through a greenish land of bananas, coffee, yams potatoes, etc. Also, you'll spend time with the locals learning how to make a cup of coffee locally.
